Colorado, USA | June 23, 2025 - Powered by Bardahl's high-performance technology, Italian motorsport legend Simone Faggioli achieved an extraordinary victory at the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, becoming the first Italian to win the event in its 103-year history. Simone Faggioli makes history as the first Italian to win the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
Driving the Bardahl NP01 prototype—a Nova Proto chassis powered by an Emap twin-turbo engine and optimized with lubricants developed by Bardahl's M-LAB—Faggioli achieved a flawless ascent of the world's most iconic mountain course, clocking an unbeatable time of 3:37.196.
Despite extreme conditions—including wind gusts exceeding 100 km/h that forced a shortened course—Faggioli's performance was masterful. He took first place overall and victory in the Unlimited class, finishing five seconds ahead of Ford factory driver Romain Dumas, driving a fully electric Super Mustang Mach-E.
This is a significant milestone not only for Faggioli, but also for Bardahl, whose cutting-edge innovation and technical partnership have been instrumental in the team's success. "Bardahl has played a fundamental role in this achievement," said Faggioli. "We pushed the boundaries of what was possible, and Bardahl's products held their own all the way to the top."
His teammate Diego Degasperi also carried the Bardahl flag, driving his NP01 to a brilliant third place overall on its Pikes Peak debut, a historic double podium finish for the Italian team.
