An effective way to clean your chainsaw and hedge trimmer
The maintenance of cutting machines is essential because a poorly maintained machine is synonymous with a dangerous and inefficient object. After each use, a serious cleaning is necessary.

On the one hand, the chainsaw chain requires special attention before each use (a chainsaw chain that shatters can cause a lot of damage!). On the other hand, you need to make sure that the hedge trimmer blades remain sharp for as long as possible. This is why, in both cases, cleaning is essential after each use.

For the chainsaw

For the chainsaw, Bardahl has developed the Super Degreaser in aerosol form. Extremely powerful, it removes oil, grease and resin deposits, even dried ones. Simply spray it on the desired areas until the deposits are removed. Bardahl Super Degreaser dries quickly without leaving any traces. After application, do not forget to check the chain oil tank and change the oil or top up if necessary. The tension must also be optimal.

For the hedge trimmer

For the hedge trimmer, Bardahl has developed a spray resin cleaner. Without attacking paints and varnishes, it acts in about 15 minutes to dissolve residues of resin, oil, tar or glue. It is recommended to then rinse the blades with a damp sponge, before wiping with a dry cloth.

Resin cleaner

  • Dissolves, cleans and removes resin, oil, tar or glue residue on cutting accessories
  • Extends lifespan
  • Leaves no traces
  • Does not attack paints and varnishes

After cleaning, to prevent corrosion, protect the blades for a long time and preserve their sharpness, apply Bardahl Hedge Trimmer Lubricant.

Hedge trimmer lubricant

  • Extends the cutting edge and life of your tools
  • Optimal lubrication thanks to its fluidity and high penetration power
  • Ideal for lubricating mechanisms where grease cannot be used

By following these instructions, your cutting tools will always be ready to attack!

Before storing them, cover them with a sheath to prevent the accumulation of dust or other impurities.

For more complete maintenance of your chainsaw and/or hedge trimmer, always refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
