How to inflate your tires in 3 Steps?
Whether it's on a bicycle, motorcycle, truck, agricultural machinery, or car, tires are the only points of contact between the vehicle and the road. If you value your safety, you should pay attention to them at least once a month. Let's get started with a quick inflation session.

When cold, once a month.

Tire pressure should always be checked when the tires are cold, as it increases when the rubber heats up. You can perform the task at home using a compressor or at the nearest gas station. It is recommended to monitor the pressure at least once a month.

Find the pressure recommended by the manufacturer.

The recommended pressure varies depending on the load in the vehicle. Here are the places where you can find the correct information:

  • on a sticker located at the driver's door height (inside or at the bottom of the B-pillar);
  • on a sticker inside the fuel filler door;
  • in your vehicle's owner's manual;
  • or on the sidewalls of the tires (for some two-wheelers, for example, as it depends on the type of vehicle).

3...2...1... inflate!

Once you have found the correct pressure for the vehicle's load (which may vary depending on the number of passengers or luggage), unscrew the valve cap and inflate. The caps protect the valves from infiltration (water, salt, particles, dust, and other impurities), but they can be dispensed with on some vehicles (such as bicycles with Presta valves or competition vehicles, depending on the conditions).

Don't forget to repeat the process at least once a month. Also, remember to check your spare tire if you have one. If not, we highly recommend the Bardahl Tire Repair:
