Spring motorcycling recovery: essential tips for a brilliant return to the saddle!

If colder temperatures don't scare you and you ride your bike in all seasons, the return of sunny days, especially after a tiring winter, is also an excellent reason to get your bike spruced up!
"Born to shine"
You probably know this, but ideally, it is better to clean your motorcycle before it goes into winter storage. But pampering it again before getting back on the road in the spring or restoring its original shine after winter outings can only be beneficial.
To start, you need Bardahl Moto Cleaner (not available in Belgium), easily recognizable by its "Born to shine since 1954" packaging. It loosens and thoroughly removes all encrusted dirt such as carbon deposits, grease or oil stains and, more generally, road film. You can use Bardahl Moto Cleaner on all surfaces of the motorcycle but also on mechanical parts and rims (for sensitive metals such as zinc, brass, aluminum alloys including those containing silicon, it is advisable to carry out compatibility tests). Its exclusive self-drying technology guarantees a streak-free result. After applying the product, we recommend wiping off any dirt with a Bardahl microfibre.
A complete cleaning is completed with the Bardahl Moto Speed Wax (not available in Belgium): this cream will give shine and a diamond effect to your paint and chrome. In addition, the Moto Speed Wax applies a protective film to combat bad weather and other small flying obstacles on the road.
Nothing will stop you
Now that you have a presentable bike, you should not neglect its equipment. Isn't it too old (it is advisable to change your helmet every 5 years or immediately after a fall)?
